How to use Molecular Shield nano ceramic coating

Molecular Shield is an user-friendly nano-ceramic coating that incorporates advanced technologies. This is the ceramic of choice for those who want to give it a try on their own for the first time. Simple and easy and theirs our on line video to back you up. Molecular Shield creates a protective layer on your vehicle, guarding against UV rays, chemicals, bird droppings, and road salt. It provides long-lasting, highly hydrophobic performance and enhances the paint with a deep, vibrant shine.

APPLICATION SURFACES

Molecular Shield can be applied to vehicle paint, headlights, taillights, wheels, and chrome surfaces. Avoid using it on uncoated plastic, newly painted surfaces (less than 3 months old), low-quality paint, glass, fabrics, and tires.

  • Ensure all surfaces are dry and free from dust, wax, oil, grease, or any other contaminants.
  • Place a suede cloth onto the sponge surface of the applicator block.
  • Open the lid and apply the required amount of product onto the suede cloth.
  • Gently spread the coating over the surface using a crisscross motion.
  • When beading appears (typically 2–3 minutes under normal conditions), gently remove any excess product with a microfiber cloth using linear strokes.
  • After waiting 1 hour, a second layer may be applied if desired.
  • Keep coated surfaces protected from direct sunlight, environmental elements, contaminants, and water for 24 hours.

Avoid direct sunlight and only work on cool surfaces during application. Wash your vehicle thoroughly beforehand. Prepare the surface using the Surface Therapy to enhance adhesion of the nano coating. Do not attempt to coat areas larger than 1 m² at a time. Fit a suede cloth onto the applicator block’s sponge and replace it every 3–4 panels. Shake the bottle gently before use.

Open the lid and pour the required amount of product onto the suede cloth. 2–3 mL is sufficient for 1 m². Keep the lid closed during use.

Spread the coating gently in a crisscross motion. Once beading occurs (2–3 minutes under normal conditions), carefully remove the excess product with a microfiber cloth in linear strokes. To maximize efficiency, fold the microfiber cloth into four sections and avoid reusing the same side.

After wiping, finish buffing the surface gently with the microfiber cloth in circular motions. If desired, a second layer can be applied after 1 hour. Keep coated areas away from direct sunlight, elements, contaminants, and water for 24 hours. Wait 48 hours for the nano coating to fully cure and gain resistance to abrasion and chemicals before washing with detergents.

Storage

To maintain optimal product performance, store unopened packaging in a dry, well-ventilated area, away from heat and ignition sources, at -3 ̊C to +30 ̊C / 26.6 ̊F to 86 ̊F. The product has a shelf life of 18 months from the production date when kept unopened under the recommended conditions. Once opened, it is advised to use the product within 1 week. Always close the lid after each use to prevent evaporation and product loss.
