Tyre Cleaning Brush

If your tyre dressing keeps turning brown or wearing off within days, the problem usually isn't the dressing. It's what's left on the tyre underneath. Old dressing, road film and brown blooming all stop new product from bonding. The Detail Dr. Tyre Cleaning Brush gets the rubber properly clean, so dresing goes on evenly and lasts.

$7.95

A stiff-bristle, angled brush that scrubs old dressing, brown tyre blooming and road grime out of the sidewall, so tyre dressing can bond and last.

Key features

  • Stiff synthetic bristles to lift old dressing, grime and brown blooming
  • Angled head gets into sidewall texture and lettering
  • Moulded handle for grip and leverage
  • Hanging hole for easy storage
  • Also suits floor mats and heavily soiled carpet

Why it works

Stiff synthetic bristles work deep into the sidewall texture and lettering, while the angled head and moulded handle let you apply real pressure without straining your wrist. A hanging hole in the handle keeps it tidy on the wall between washes.

How to use

  1. Rinse the tyre with water.
  2. Spray tyre cleaner onto the sidewall (see the Tyre Clean and Dressing Kit).
  3. Scrub the whole sidewall with the brush. Dirty brown foam means there's still residue coming off.
  4. Rinse, then repeat until the foam stays white.
  5. Let the tyre dry fully, then apply dressing with the Tyre Applicator Sponge.
  6. Avoid use on paint or delicate wheel finishes.
